If I wasn’t an artist, I would surely be a guidance counselor, head hunter or psychic… because I love talking to people about their dreams, I hear them and want nothing more than to pull them down onto the planet and make them a reality. Really, it’s the dreeeaaaams that I love!!!
Until I was about 22 I was very lost. I didn’t know what I’d do with my life. I prayed and prayed about it, and I hit a lot of really low points. Then, one day, through the darkest and deepest depression I've experienced to date, I found my calling. The joy that this now brings me day to day is so immense, that I want it for everyone.
I truly believe that we each have a path. It’s very specific to each of us, unique like a snowflake. If you’re not doing what you love, I ask that you reconsider and make the switch as slowly or swiftly as you can. Because there IS no greater joy than fulfilling your earthly mission.
Feel stuck and unclear about your mission? Pray. I know that sounds simple, but it works no matter who you’re praying to or what you believe in. Say it out loud or write it in a journal “I know I have a mission here, show me the way! Thank you in advance” And over time, like magic, you’re snowflake mission will unveil.
Once you’re doing what you love, you’ll feel almost feel guilty using the word ‘work’ to describe it. Work can often be associated with something unenjoyable, to be endured. I like the word ‘mission’ because it can be accomplished. Even in the frustrating moments you can see the big picture, you make progress, and it feels good to your soul.
Have you found your mission? Do you remember how you discovered it? How does it feel to know what you’re here doing? If you don’t yet know, what steps are you taking to find it?
